“If it ain't a Type R then it ain't a tyte car”

Everyone loves the Type R platform. It comes out of the box with a high revving engine with a tuned suspension beyond your average street car. Brad took the OEM Japanese front end and added it to the Type R for a clean unique exterior look. Howard over at RLZ took a complete overhaul to this crazy all motor setup.

The B18C5 motor was ready to go for a whole new style. An AEBS closed deck 85mm bore along with some cams and new pistons. The head was built with a port and polish job and a custom RLZ Stage 3 cam. The intake side is started with a Mugen intake which runs into a JG Victor X manifold which forces air into the motor. Once the motor is ready to free up, exhaust fumes are pushed out an AN-R header which runs into a Thermal 3” exhaust.

Getting fuel to this powerhouse C5 motor was put together with a setup that included RC 370cc injectors. SARD FPR keeps tabs on the fuel and a Toda timing belt assures the car won't jump timing. P1 fine tuned the AEM EMS that allows the motor rev way past the stock C5's limit.
