Jeff Gunn, a Dallas,Texas native has always been on the cutting-edge of design. He now resides in Atlanta and works as a senior graphic designer. His goal for his 2003 Volkswagen GTI was to model it after some of his photoshop work. He designed the car through hours of meticulous work via Photoshop CS. The result is a fine piece of German artwork. From the outward aesthetics to under the hood eye-candy, he is happy with the progress of the car.
In all it's aesthetic glory, the car still remains a daily driver. The car has remained naturally aspirated for that reason.
The wheels were custom done through Kinesis Alloy company, a very reputable dealer/designer of some of the highest quality wheels available. The centers were powder-coated with a lovely flat black (Jeff's favorite shade of black). The Kinesis k18's are a sturdy forged wheel. They are 18x8.0 in the front and a wide 18x9.5 in the rear. The car is able to be lowered a staggering three inches via kw v1 inox coilovers.
Not only is the car appealing to the eye, it has some grunt as well. To name a few of the engine modifications: GIAC software, Schrick 268/264 cams, Techtonics/Borla exhaust, as well as, a Eurosport underdrive pulley.
