This car is coming straight out of dAng country. The famous crew from Alabama has produced so many insane cars lately that they are flying off the charts. This car is owned by Ryan who also happens to own Automation Body and Paint out of Birmingham, Alabama.

            The exterior of this Civic has a more aggressive stance with a CTR front lip and headlights. Automation took to the roof and built a custom carbon fiber roof. An authentic Spoon duckbill wing and carbon fiber antenna block off plate to complete the carbon fiber package. The final mod to make the car stand out was a full spray of suzuka blue pearl from a Honda s2000.

            This B-series motor includes a bored over B18B1 block filled with SRP 10:1 compression pistons and Eagle rods. A modified B17 head was laid on top of the LS block. Plenty of goodies came in with the B17 head including GSR cams, ITR springs and retainers, B16 valves, and ARP head studs. The LS/VTEC powerhouse motor wasn’t enough for Ryan so he picked up a Jackson Racing supercharger to push this frankenstein motor off the top.

            The suspension was modified with some APEXi N1 coils for a great ride. Also Ryan called on some CTR lower control arm’s which are quite stronger than the stock one’s on his EK. With all this power he also wanted to stop, so he did a GSR caliper conversion and then added an AEM big brake kit to the mix.

            With the car almost complete, the interior had some catching up to do with the rest of the car. Art Morrison installed a roll cage while Corbeau was called for the task of providing racing seats. A 99-2000 Civic Si cluster was swapped in the car to keep tabs on the new motor. More carbon fiber goodies were added including a climate control block off plate and air bag pocket cover.
