    Default Good towing company?

Can anyone recommend one? --something cost-effective. My 86 is having axle trouble and I need to get it back home [ATL to Lawrenceville]. I've used Toe Jam Towing before and the dude was real coo. Or maybe one of you guys have something to help me tow my car for some

    Suggestions?

K.O. Towing has always been the **** for me. Cheapest every time and driver is usualy quite a character. One time I had to get my 240 towed and the driver had to stop and get some diesel. The arabian guy in the counter apparently said the wrong thing to the driver (who was a big dude and a heck of a hick) so the driver picked a fight with him. Driver clocked him in the face and clerk went down. Cops got called and gave a warning to the clerk for insulting customers. Ten minutes later the car gets to my house and the driver mentions to me sorry for the wait at the gas station, he was just in the mood to clock someone. Hahhahaha He got a hell of a tip for that, it was pure entertainment.

I've gotten 2 quotes from two places to tow my car tonight--both were 130.00. grrr...After tonight, that's it.

I bit the bullet--went ahead and became a plus member with AAA.

Thanks everyone for your help. My coworker came in and I was able to use his AAA service. Dang, he freakin' saved me 130.00. And the tow guy was really coo. AAA FTW!!!!
